Chief Technical Officer - CTO (m/f)
Key Responsibilities
- Technological responsibility for the whole development area with subjects like development, integration, testing and launch of new production functions as well as for the internal and external infrastructure
- Building up, including the disciplinary and organizational responsibility of the business area product development and product innovation
- Development of the software architecture with regard to security, scalability and technical performance
- Management of a team of top professionals in the development area
- Coordination with all stakeholder in terms of the product roadmap and balancing between business interests and development needs
Key Experience
- You have already proved that you are able to develop young organizations and / or business models in a similar dynamic and challenging market environment on the technology side and align sustainable
- You have several years of experience in the fields of IT-Governance, Software-development, IT-infrastructure, IT-security and the corresponding tools and operating systems in the travel- or rather in the hospitality area
- You are familiar with the construction and operation of high performance and scalable internet applications on international level
- You are passionate interested in modern web- and mobile-applications and you are excited in beautiful and pragmatic codes. You also know exactly the development of innovative digital applications
- You are versed in developing of web-applications, frontend/backend and you have advanced knowledge and experience in Java and JVM
- Experience in another programming language like Javascript, Go, Python or Ruby is a plus
- You have Experience in the agile project management (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)
- You have the ability to adapt new technologies easily
- You have first leadership experience and a quick understanding and enthusiasm is characteristic for you and you are able to give that to your team
- You work structured and results-oriented and you stay in complex situations flexibly capable of acting and you reach a goal-oriented result in an pragmatic way
- Excellent communication skills in German and English
- You are a dynamic and confident personality with marked hands-on-mentality

Chief Technical Officer - CTO (m/w)
Ihre Aufgaben
- Technologische Verantwortung für den gesamten Development-Bereich mit Themen wie Entwicklung, Integration, Erprobung und Markteinführung neuer Produktfunktionen sowie für die interne und externe Infrastruktur
- Aufbau inklusive der disziplinarischen und organisatorischen Verantwortung des Geschäftsfeldes Produktentwicklung und Produkt Innovation
- Weiterentwicklung der Software-Architektur hinsichtlich Sicherheit, Skalierbarkeit und technischer Performance
- Leitung eines Teams von Top-Profis in den Bereichen Development
- Koordination mit allen Stakeholdern bezüglich der Product Roadmap und Ausbalancierung zwischen Geschäftsinteressen und Entwicklungsnotwendigkeiten
Ihr Profil
- Du hast bereits bewiesen, dass Du junge Organisationen und/oder Geschäftsmodelle in einem ähnlich dynamischen und anspruchsvollen Marktumfeld technologieseitig entwickeln und nachhaltig ausrichten kannst
- Du verfügst über mehrjährige Erfahrung in den Bereichen IT-Governance, Software-Entwicklung, IT-Infrastruktur, IT-Security sowie den zugehörigen Tools und Betriebssystemen im Travel- bzw. Hospitalitybereich
- Du kennst Dich mit dem Aufbau und dem Betrieb hochperformanter und skalierbarer Internetanwendungen auf internationalem Niveau aus
- Du bist leidenschaftlich interessiert an modernen Web- und Mobile-Anwendungen und bist begeistert von schönen und pragmatischen Codes. Außerdem kennst Du Dich mit der Entwicklung innovativer digitaler Anwendungen aus
- Du bist versiert in der Entwicklung von Web-Anwendungen, Frontend / Backend und verfügst über fundierte Kenntnisse und Erfahrungen mit Java und der JVM
- Idealerweise verfügst Du über Erfahrung in einer weiteren Programmiersprache, wie Javascript, Go, Python, Ruby
- Du besitzt Erfahrung im agilen Projektmanagement (z.B. Scrum, Kanban)
- Dich zeichnet die Fähigkeit aus, sich schnell in neue Technologien einzuarbeiten
